PGC 36546 | 755 x 483 | Comparison with Palomar Observatory Sky Survey image (POSS2) (left)
and TOC Deep Field 1 (TDF1)
The POSS2 is made on a red sensitive plate showing stars down to Mag. 21-22. The field size is 4.2 x 8.9' - The TDF1 is a 5x2 min. stack - exposures made under not perfect weather conditions - haze and medium seeing. POSS2 is slightly better resolved but does not show fainter stars. PGC 36546 is situated at the upper left of the two frames. See "Full Field" - Pos: R.A.11:44,34 - 36 25' 13" N. Full field |

The POSS2 is made on a red sensitive plate showing stars down to Mag. 21-22. The field size is 4.2 x 8.9' - The TDF2 is a 5x6 min. stack - exposures made under still not perfect weather conditions - it was dark, but the Milky Way was not visible.
