TOC Observatory - Denmark
THE OBSERVATORY BUILDING
We started building our new observatory in the beginning of 2002 at a new site around 15 km's north of Aarhus. The outside was finished on the 20th. of July the same year. Here it is seen from from the drive way.
In 2020 the observatory was moved to Følle Strand around 8 km further northeast.

THE TELESCOPE
The observatory houses a 14.5 inch f:4,2 computer controlled Newtonian reflector with carbon tubus. Seen from top side.
Instrument platform and camera mount
We started building the instrument in 2017. See link below
The new refractor - Oct. 2006
The Sky-Watcher telescope is a short focal length refractor. Aperture: 80 mm f/7.5 ED. For remote focusing the telescope is equipped with a motor focus device - homebuilt of course. The SkyWatcher is used both as a guiding scope and as a photographic instrument. Some of the first images: M-31 - The Moon
